KIM ROBBINS - Artist

Kim Tatum Robbins is an award winning artist/muralist who has been creating art for decades. Her education includes a Fine Arts/Art Education degree from Kutztown University. As a lifelong resident of Pennsylvania, she has lived in and around the Philadelphia area. 

After raising her two sons, she returned to the studio and embraced her passion for oil painting. In addition to painting on canvas, she has designed and created numerous commercial and residential indoor and outdoor murals. She enjoys spending time with her husband of 31 years and their dog and cat. Aside from her art, Kim also devotes time to coaching youth basketball and track.

Kim's oil painting " Ladies at the Bar" won Best of Show in a 2022 GNAL exhibition. "Lucy" was awarded 2nd place in the highly competitive juried 2019 Meadowood Art Show. "Lucy" also received a special Award of Merit and "Blueberries" got an Honorable Mention at the North Penn Arts Alliance Art Exhibition. "Blueberries" additionally received 2nd place at the Greater Norristown Art League Show. "Holy Cow!" won the Peoples Choice Award at the Ambler Fall Arts Festival.

 

Kim has had solo exhibits at The Lansdale Library, the Ambler Art Center, Coll's Custom Framing in Conshohocken, the Storehouse Church, Meadowood Senior Living, and twice at the gallery at Spring Mill Pointe. Her work is also on display in several private collections. She was recognized in the media in 2020 and again in 2021, for her mural work projects and dedication to public art during the pandemic.

KimmyArt currently has some originals and prints available at galleries/shops in Ambler and Conshohocken, PA. Kim hopes to do more Art Festivals and shows going forward and will continue to create and seek inspiration. Thanks for your interest and support!
